The Membership of the Landscape Maintenance Association commits:

• To adhere to the Bylaws of the Association and to foster its' objectives.
• To strive to increase both personal and employee qualifications and proficiency in horticultural practices. 
• To deal honestly and fairly with the public and to avoid and condemn practices which tend to discredit the industry.
• To engage in practices that enhance the well being of the environment and to discourage practices detrimental to the environment.
• To encourage the dissemination of knowledge, research, and education in the field of Landscape Maintenance.
• To be in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing the owning and operating of a landscape maintenance business.
